Geir Yttervik (f. 1955) er utdannet fra Statens Kunst- og Håndverksskole og fra Statens Kunstakademi, er innkjøpt av Nasjonalmuseet, Sørlandets Kunstmuseum, Astrup Fearnley Museet og til flere private samlinger. Han har mottatt flere arbeidsstipender. Bildene hans er gjerne dramatiske og ladet med en uavklart situasjon. Handlingen er konstruert og bildene kan minne om filmscener. Bevegelsene og figurene som er trukket langt frem i billedplanet, gir tilskueren en opplevelse av delaktighet.
