Krzysztof Kaczmar KAWKA henter inspirasjon fra dagligdagse handlinger som å gå og stå, sitte ned og reise seg, åpne og lukke datamaskinen, og manifesterer disse gjennom rytme og ord. Hans performance utforsker hvordan det er mulig å gjenskape felles opplevelser mellom mennesker etter lengre tid med avstand, og hvordan musikk kan skape en opplevelse av nærhet uten å fysisk berøre. Kaczmar har under pandemien blitt bevisst på hvordan musikk kan skape samhold og tilhørighet gjennom dans og bevegelse, og hvordan pandemien har hindret oss i å danse sammen med andre.

Krzysztof Kaczmar (f. 1989) er utdannet ved Kraków Academy of Fine Arts og har deltatt ved over 40 utstillinger over hele Europa. Kaczmar arbeider innen flere ulike medier som foto, musikk og scenekunst, og er også politisk engasjert som aktivist. Han samarbeider blant annet med Extinction Rebellion og lignende organisasjoner som setter søkelys på global oppvarming og klimaendringer.

Krzysztof Kaczmar KAWKA gets his inspiration from daily activities such as walking and standing, sitting down, and getting up, opening and closing the computer, all of which he presents through rhythm and words. His performance examines how it is possible to recreate shared experiences between people after a long time of distance, and how music can create a feeling of intimacy without physically touching. During the pandemic, Kaczmar has become mindful of how music can build unity and connection through dance and movement, and how the pandemic has stopped us from dancing with others.

Krzysztof Kaczmar (b. 1989), a graduate of Kraków Academy of Fine Arts, has participated at over 40 exhibitions throughout Europe. He works with a range of media such as photo, music, and stage art, and also as a political activist. Amongst others, he collaborates with Extinction Rebellion and similar organisations that put the spotlight on global warming and climate change.
