Utstilling og langvarig performance pågår gjennom dagen fra kl. 12.00, i Galleri EKG ved Stortorget.

Når kvelden nærmer seg, gjør Hybridene, med Ell Puppet og Kart-makeren, seg klar til parade gjennom Hamars gater. Sammen bærer de Kulturens kart, et symbolsk verk som forener mennesker og kulturer. Paraden ender ved neste festival-arena, Gullkorn ølbar, der verket overrekkes til Kunstbanken, arrangørene av Hamar performancefestival. Kulturens kart ble påbegynt dagen før, i en medskapende performance sammen med unge innvandrere. Etter overrekkelsen fortsetter feiringen med neste performance på puben, en videreføring av fellesskap, deling og kulturell utveksling.

Vin, øl og brus serveres av Hybridene i Galleri EKG på lørdag kveld, før paradens avmarsj.

Hybridene er et eksperimentelt kunstnerkollektiv som jobber på tvers av ulike uttrykksformer: maleri, skulptur, tekstil, animasjon, video, fotografi, lydlandskap, performance og installasjon. Tre av medlemmene bor i England, én i Norge. Alle har sin kunstutdanning fra Brighton.

As evening approaches, the Hybrids — with Ell Puppet and the Map-Maker — get ready for a parade through the streets of Hamar. Together, they carry the Map of Culture, a symbolic artwork that brings people and cultures together. The parade ends at the next festival venue, Gullkorn beer bar, where the artwork is handed over to Kunstbanken, the organizers of Hamar Performance Festival. The Map of Culture was started the day before, in a co-creative performance with young immigrants. After the handover, the celebration continues with the next performance at the pub — a continuation of community, sharing, and cultural exchange.

Wine, beer, and soft drinks will be served by the Hybrids at Galleri EKG on Saturday evening, before the parade sets off.

The Hybrids is an experimental artist collective working across various forms of expression: painting, sculpture, textiles, animation, video, photography, soundscapes, performance, and installation. Three of the members live in England, one in Norway. They all received their art education in Brighton.
