Huset Aukrust inviterte Kunstbanken til samarbeid i 100-årsjubileumsåret for Kjell Aukrusts fødsel i 2020, og resultatet er denne vandreutstillinga. Kunstbanken har koblet Kjell Aukrust (1920-2002) opp mot Øyvind Torseter (f.1972) fra Stange. Møtene mellom de respektive karaktergalleriene og motivene gir nye koblinger og nye historier. Torseters tristmuntre og surrealistiske melankoli går i dialog med Aukrusts lune, men skarpsindig observante humor.
